Transcript – Healthy Working Wales overview
Across Wales, work-related stress, sickness absence, and long-term health issues affect thousands of people, costing businesses valuable time and resources.
But with the right support, these challenges can be managed, helping both employees and organisations flourish.
Healthy Working Wales is a national programme led by Public Health Wales.
We support employers across Wales to create healthier, happier, more productive workplaces, by focusing on three key areas:
Healthy work environments; promoting communication, development, equality and sustainability.
Healthy lifestyles; including mental wellbeing, physical activity and nutrition.
Supporting employees with health needs; including managing chronic conditions and returning to work after sickness.
We make it simple for employers to take action with our Acess, Complete and Engage approach to free support:
Access our website resources, webinars and tools – all freely available.
Complete our free e-learning modules for more in-depth learning, and our Employer Survey Tool to assess your workplace and identify areas for improvement.
Engage with our Workplace Adviser Support service and Peer Mentoring Programme to get tailored 1:1 guidance and connect with other organisations.
