The value of supporting Talk Money Week in work

Talk Money Week is an annual event organised by the Money and Pension Service (MaPS).

During Talk Money Week, workplaces can get involved with events and activities which can help employees have more open conversations about their money and continue these conversations year-round.

You can use the week as an opportunity to reduce stigma, challenge attitudes to financial management and help employees access the support they need.

A workplace that supports employees with money management can:

  • Create a culture of openness and understanding
  • Help build employee resilience
  • Reduce absences and staff turnover
