HWW recently launched some exciting new, free resources designed to improve workplace health and wellbeing:
HWW Employer Survey Tool
Enables employers to assess their current approach to workplace health and wellbeing and get clear advice, feedback and suggested next steps to strengthen their workplace wellbeing strategy.

Workplace Adviser Support
Allows employers to access one-to-one, virtual support sessions from HWW’s Workplace Advisers to get simple ideas, tools and plans that they can put into action straight away in their workplace.

Social Care Wales Wellbeing Week (19 – 23 January)
We’re excited to be involved in Social Care Wales’ Wellbeing Week! There’s an exciting programme of events planned to help people in the sector understand more about wellbeing at work.
- Thursday 21 January – Understanding wellbeing in your workplace
- Friday 22 January – Supporting people to manage health conditions and return or stay in work

Understanding and managing workplace conflict webinar
Join Healthy Working Wales and ACAS for one of two engaging and informative ‘Understanding and managing workplace conflict’ webinars. These sessions will explore how workplaces across Wales can minimise the risk of conflict and build healthier working relationships.
This webinar will cover what workplace conflict is and why it can escalate . It will also highlight clear, practical steps to create a more inclusive workplace culture, support staff and put effective conflict-resolution approaches in place.

How can employers support young employees in the workplace

At the HWW New Service Launch Event on 12 November 2025, 78 participants from organisations across South and Mid Wales discussed how employers can better support young people aged 16–24. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to this report.
The group talked about the challenges young workers face and came up with six key issues and nine recommendations for employers.

In-Work support
The In-Work Support Service provides support and training to help people and businesses improve workplace wellbeing.
The service includes:
- Support to help employed and self-employed people manage their health condition and either return to work or remain in work
- Training and support to help businesses improve workplace wellbeing
There are three providers of the In-Work Support Service across Wales.

World Cancer Day (4 February)
Learn how employers can use World Cancer Day to promote awareness of the symptoms of cancer and promote early detection through screening services.
CIPD Conference (5 February)
We’re looking forward to being at the CIPD in Wales Conference at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff!
Our Workplace Advisers will be at our stand thoroughout the event sharing information about the free support available to businesses from Healthy Working Wales – make sure to come say hello!
Time to Talk Day (6 February)
Time to Talk Day is a chance to talk about mental health in the workplace. Find out how to get involved, encourage open discussions and reduce stigma.
National Apprenticeship Week (9 February – 15 February)
Learn how employers can use National Apprenticeship Week to raise awareness of apprenticeships and highlight the value of apprentices in the workplace.
