A fantastic start to our Peer Mentoring Programme

Our first Peer Mentoring session has officially taken place, marking the start of an exciting journey for participating organisations.

Our first group is focussing on mental health and wellbeing at work, with participants sharing experiences, exploring challenges and discussing practical ideas they can try in their workplaces.

Thank you to our mentor, Paul Billington, Senior People Partner for Health and Wellbeing at Admiral, and to our mentees for making the first session such a success.

Admiral becomes Wales’ first Leading Employer badge holder

Admiral Wales' first Leading Employer badge holder

Congratulations to Admiral, the first organisation in Wales to receive the Healthy Working Wales Leading Employer recognition badge.
The badge celebrates organisations taking positive action to improve health and wellbeing in the workplace.

As our first Leading Employer badge holder, Admiral is setting an excellent example through its commitment to workplace wellbeing, sharing good practice and supporting other organisations through our Peer Mentoring Programme.

Paul Billington, Senior People Partner for Health and Wellbeing at Admiral, shared:

“We know that everyone’s wellbeing journey is unique to their own experiences, and having a clear framework to align with that has been key for us at Admiral. Help us understand the experiences of workers aged 50+ in Wales

New project launch! Exploring the experiences of employees aged 50+ in Wales.

We’re excited to be working with RCS on a new project exploring the experiences of workers aged 50+ across Wales.

If you are aged 50+ and currently working in Wales, we would love to hear from you. Our friendly online workshops provide an opportunity to share your experiences, discuss what helps you stay healthy and engaged at work, and highlight any challenges you face.

Your feedback will help develop practical resources and guidance for employers, supporting healthier, more inclusive and age-friendly workplaces across Wales.

Psychological safety in the workplace

New support for people diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes

A new Guide to Living Well with Type 2 diabetes is now available to support people diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes to understand their diagnosis, access support and take positive steps towards managing their health from day one.

Co-designed by people living with diabetes, clinicians and Diabetes UK Cymru, organisations can share the guide through internal communication channels to help raise awareness of the support and resources available to employees living with Type 2 diabetes. A communications toolkit is available to help promote the guide in your workplace.
