New Workplace Nature Wellbeing Calendar

Workplace Nature Wellbeing Calendar

We’re excited to share a new wellbeing resource to use throughout the year.

The Workplace Nature Wellbeing Calendar has been co-designed by RSPB Cymru and Healthy Working Wales following workshops with employers. Its simple activities will help you connect with nature and are designed to support and improve your wellbeing and health.

You can notice and connect with nature throughout the year where you live or work and the suggested activities are set out as a monthly calendar.

HWW would love to see how you and your teams are using the resource – get in touch to share what activities you’ve been enjoying and share any feedback you have about the calendar.

Healthy Travel Charter Standards now open for sign up

Commuters leaving a train at a train station, one person is pushing a bike.

Public Health Wales, in partnership with the Welsh Government and Transport for Wales, has launched the new Healthy Travel Charter Standards for Wales.

The standard provides a national framework to help organisations in Wales promote healthier, more sustainable and lower carbon travel.

Building on the success of regional Charters across Wales, the new Standards offer:

  • Clearer actions for organisations to take
  • Three levels of achievement
  • Greater flexibility, particularly for organisations operating across multiple sites or regions.

By signing up, employers can:

  • Support staff wellbeing
  • Reduce sickness absence
  • Cut carbon emissions

To find out more, visit the Healthy Travel Charter Standards webpage or sign up by emailing: [email protected]

The Standards are suitable for both organisations new to the Charter and existing signatories looking to build on their achievements. They do not change the requirements for organisations already signed up to a current or recently launched regional Charter.
